Hancock Public Transit

The smaller of two public transit providers in the cities of Houghton and Hancock, Hancock Public Transit offers demand-response service to the general population from 7 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Those needing transportation should call less than 30 minutes in advance, and point-to-point rides will be provided as available. Service is available in and around the two cities, with outer boundaries roughly defined by Quincy Hill near Portage Health System, Copper Bowl Lanes in Ripley, Hancock Beach/Campground, and Copper Country Mall in Houghton.
