Michigan department of health and human services

The State of Michigan’s Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) provides on-demand transportation to medical appointments for eligible Michigan Medicaid recipients. There is no cost to these recipients. Rides are provided by volunteers, and a wheelchair accessible vehicle is available on request. Medicaid recipients can also be reimbursed if they drive themselves, as can friends or relatives.
